Weekly Wishlist: ASOS

Hello everyone! I'm back with another Weekly Wishlist!
I don't know why but I seem to spend my whole life browsing through the sections on ASOS so it only seemed right that I did a Weekly Wishlist on all the things I have been obsessing over recently.
Skater Dress In Colour Block £25.00
Satchel Bag With Scallop Bar Detail £30.00
Cropped Shirt with Sequin Collar in Check Print £40.00 NOW £28.00
Stone Set Bezel Boyfriend Watch £25.00
Blouse with Petal Collar £25.00
Shorts with Scallop Hem £20.00
This Wishlist screams spring and summer (which by the way can hurry up! This rain is really boring me now!!). I have mentioned before that I love collars and two of these items have them, and one of which is gold and glittery!! Definitely my kind of thing. The shorts made their way into this post because I always go for the classic denim shorts in the summer but I do want to try some different styled shorts and these could potentially be my new go-to spring-summer item. I have a slight love for satchels and when I saw this I almost bought it straight away!! I then saw there was also a mint coloured one as well and then the dilemmas started! Decisions, decisions. The watch is very similar to a well known Michael Kors watch that I look at often wishing for it to be mine...one day I keep telling myself, one day. But for the meantime this could fill the little rose gold watch shaped space in my heart! And finally a dress. It just looks so simple and cute that I think it would be perfect for the spring and summer time!
Hope you enjoyed this post. What have you been loving form ASOS recently?

Review: Aussie Conditioning Treatments

Hello everyone! I hope you have had a good week so far and that you are looking forward to the weekend.
Today I have decided to combine two products into one review because they are very similar products and they are from the same brand.
Aussie has been a favourite haircare brand of mine for years so I thought I would share my love of the brand with you.
First off the 3 Minute Miracle Luscious Long Deep Treatment.
Usually I don't use this deep conditioner, I use the 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy Deep Treatment because my naturally curly hair has a bit of frizz, however when I ran out of my last one I thought it would be nice to change it up a bit and use a product suitable for long hair. My hair is quite long and suffers from split ends due to its length and using heat styling tools so anything that can help prevent the split ends or help keep my hair in good condition is good in my eyes.
I had never tried this particular product out before and was excited to try it out for the first time. When I first used it the first thing that struck me was the smell. I loved the smell of the Frizz Remedy Deep Treatment and so I was expecting to love the smell of this one. However I didn't. I can't really explain the smell and why I don't like it, maybe it was just a disappointment after the amazing scent the other deep treatment had that made me not like it but it is not great..
Other than the smell I love this product. I have noticed less split ends in my hair and the condition of it has been better than ever. I would recommend this product because even though I didn't like the scent there are better amazing qualities to it.
Secondly the Leave in Conditioner.
This is AMAZING. Unlike the other product this one has an unbelievably amazing scent that to me smells like summer. This is supposed to 'detangle and protect your hair from everyday wear and tear' and I definitely think that this does. I put this in my hair when it is damp and it leaves my hair very soft and I find it helps protect hair from frizz. For me I can't use this once I have styled my hair because it is a water based products so will cause my hair to start to return to it's natural state, very curly and slightly uncontrollable! However I still love it.
I highly recommend this product and I know that I have made some of my friends go out and buy it because of it's amazing scent.
Have you tried any Aussie Products before? If so what have they been?

FOTD: Lazy Sunday

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!!

Today I have decided to do my first FOTD (which means Face Of The Day) and show you my makeup that I am wearing today. Putting makeup on is one of my favourite things to do and sometimes is the reason I get out of bed in the morning!! Today I kept it pretty simple since I wasn't going anywhere special and was just having a relaxing Sunday at home.

Products used:

  • Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 51 applied with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
  • Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder in 53 applied with the Bourjois Powder Brush
  • Clinique Blushing Blush Powder in Iced Lotus applied with a blush brush (I don't know what brand, sorry!)
  • Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in Birthday Suit applied with my finger
  • MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack applied with the MAC 210 brush
  • MAC Eyebrows in Fling
  • Maybelline The Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara
  • Benefit Lipstick in Mod Squad
What is your typical Lazy Sunday look?

December Favourites 2013

First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
I cannot believe we are now in 2014! I hope this year is amazing for you and that it is the best one yet :)
Now that all of that is done we can get on with the post.

These are my favourites for the month of December.

1. It's Potent eye cream from Benefit
I have had quite a lot of early mornings this month and a result of too many early mornings is dark under eye bags. So I looked around my skincare stash and I found this little pot of eye cream. Although this is only the mini version of this beautiful product I definitely will go and buy the full size version of it because it is amazing. It is moisturising and it helps with dark circles. Definitely worth getting.

2. Instant Radiance Concealer from No7
This has been a favourite of mine forever and again with the late nights, dark circles are a problem. Even though the eye cream helps, this concealer just brightens my eyes as well as covering circles. To see a full review of this product click here.

3. Butterfly Wings Body Spray from Ted Baker
I got this for my birthday in this little set so I have it in the mini version (again a mini version of something, sorry!) However I am going to get the full size version of this because it smells AMAZING. I am rubbish at describing scents so here is what it says on the Boots website:
'Scented with elegant bergamot and red fruit, highlighted with tuberose and patchouli'
Buy it here
4. Blushing Blush Powder Blush in Iced Lotus from Clinique
This is probably my favourite favourite for this month. The colour is beautiful, it has a perfect amount of shimmer that it keeps you looking healthy and the staying power is very good. It would be even more perfect in the Spring/Summer time but that isn't going to stop me wearing it in the Winter.

5. Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara from Rimmel London
I got this mascara when I went to Clothes Show Live back at the beginning of December and have used it quite a lot since then. For me it makes my lashes very voluminous and I love mascaras that do this as I have naturally very long eyelashes so volume is what I need my mascara to do. All in all I love this mascara.
Buy it here
6.  Volum' Express The Mega Plush Mascara from Maybelline
Yes, another mascara. And yes, another volumising one. And yes, I love this one a lot as well. Personally I find this mascara less dramatic than the Scandaleyes one however that doesn't mean I don't love it. I usually use this on days where I am not wearing a lot on makeup and only want a very simple eye look.
Buy it here
7. Eye Brows (brow pencil) from MAC in Fling
My eye brows are very sparse and fair naturally and although the pale brow look is nice I prefer to fill my brows  in a little darker than they naturally are and this brow pencil is perfect. It stays on all day and keeps my brows looking filled in and just how I like them.

There are my favourites for the month of December. What were yours?
