Review: Soap and Glory Pulp Friction Body Scrub

Today's post is another review and this time I am going to review the latest Soap and Glory product I have purchased which was featured in my latest haul (and only haul so far!). So lets get on with this.

This scrub is an amazing smelling, body scrub that I have been using about once a week as an all over body exfoliator. This really helps to tackle the really dry areas like my elbows and knees but it also doesn't leave my skin feeling super irritated which sometimes happens with scrubs.

I love the smell of this product as it isn't overpowering in any way and just leaves your skin not only feeling great, but smelling great too. This is definitely a little-goes-a-long-way kind of product and I can see this lasting me a long time and at only £8 it is a product I recommend to all of you, especially now that winter is coming and skin tends to be a little dryer at this time of the year.

What is your favourite Soap and Glory product? Let me know in the comments below.

Five Favourites: Autumn/Winter Nail Polishes

Today I am going to write about the nail polishes that I will be wearing this A/W. So lets get into this.

Barry M Sequin Nail Effects in 1 White
Glitter polishes are such an easy way to spice up a regular plain manicure or pedicure and by putting this on the top of your favourite polish colour and it will make it be completely transformed. The green, silver, blue and red glitter particles mean that this could be paired with pretty much any colour and could be worn on all of the nails, as a statement nail or just on the tips of your nails.

Buy it here!

Barry M Instant Nail Effects Magnetic in 326 Dark Silver
This is a nice way to wear a black nail without it looking super harsh (although don't get me wrong I do like black nail varnish!). With the magnetic affect you don't need to be an amazing nail artist in order to get a beautiful pattern.

Buy it here!

nails inc. in Victoria
This is one of the prettiest colours I currently own. It is a deep red and it is stunning. I like to apply a couple of coats of it in order to get the full effect of the deepness but I love it. This is, in my opinion, a must have for A/W.

Buy it here!

Avon Speed Dry + Nail Enamel in
Twilight Blue
As you can probably tell most of my favourite nail colours for this time of year are deep and dark and this one is no exception. This is an almost black blue (basically a really, really dark blue!). I am going to be putting it on my toes tomorrow to go from a spring/summer colour to a autumn/winter colour and I can't wait. (I know painting your toe nails in winter seems kind of pointless since you are only putting your feet in socks and boots but my school doesn't allow us to wear nails polish on our finger nails so the only way I can enjoy these colours is by painting my toe nails.)

Buy it here!

Broadway Nails Real Life Petite Kit in Pink
Ok so this is not a nail polish but it is a nail look that I love. French Manicures are such an elegant, chic look and it goes with all outfits. These are super easy to apply and last for the 7 days it says it will (sometimes the occasional one will fall off but I just glue it back on et voilà!).

Buy it here!

Next on my nail polish list is a dark green polish and a deep grey one. If you have any suggestions as to which particular brand I should get for these colours please leave them in the comments below.

Work, Work, Work

Since most of us lucky people have had to go back to school recently we will be spending more and more time at our desks doing homework and this evening has been no exception for me. As we are spending so much time at our desks we might as well make them look nice, so today I thought I would share some of the Pins I have seen recently of some pretty desk organisation and design ideas.
Pin boards add a cute touch to a boring desk

These could be made out of old tin cans wrapped in wrapping paper
and an easy way to organise pens and pencils

If a pin board isn't for you this simple heart design could be perfect.

I love the fairy lights, I'm definitely going to try this.

Even though this is also a vanity, I like the pink and the decorations
which could liven up any boring desk.

I'm definitely going to decorate my desk this weekend with some of these ideas so that I will enjoy being at my desk a little bit more than I currently am as at the moment I am just looking at a boring, cluttered area of my room.
Do you have any desk design ideas and if so what are they? Let me know in the comments below.

Disclaimer: all photos are from Pinterest I do not any of them.

Review: Bourjois Healthy Balance Compact Powder

Today I am going to write about one of my favourite products that I am currently using on my face which is the Bourjois Healthy Balance Compact Powder. I have been using this powder for over a year and it is, for me, the best powder I have used. I know a lot of other people rave about the Rimmel Stay Matte powder and I do plan to buy that sometime soon but I just love this Bourjois one so I don't feel the need too buy it!
I have mine in the shade 53 Beige Clair.

This powder says that it is hydrating and that it is anti-shine which is perfect for me because I have combination skin so having both the hydrating side and the anti-shine side to it means that my skin looks flawless and not dry or shiny in any areas. If my skin does start to appear shiny throughout the day I can just apply this and it completely matifies it leaving it flawless again.

This product comes in 4 different shades so could be a bit limiting but the product is amazing so if you can find a shade that matches your skin, I highly recommend you try it out. As for the packaging. I think it is really pretty which isn't a major factor to how good the product is but I do like a product that looks nice on the outside and it is more likely to jump into my basket in Boots. At £8.99 it isn't too pricey so good for those on a bit of a budget. This powder does last a long time as well so it is definitely worth giving it a try.

Liebster Award

Yesterday the lovely Alicia from clever spices nominated me for the Liebster award. This award is a little award in the blogging world for small blogs who need a bit of a discovering shall we say. There are only a couple of rules that are quite straight forward and they are:
  • You have to give 11 facts about yourself
  • Answer the 11 questions given by the person who nominated you
  • Nominate 11 blogs (although I kind of cheated here, just continue reading to find out how!) who each have less than 200 followers
  • And finally give 11 questions you want the people you nominated to answer.
So lets get started!

11 facts about me:
  1. I love to bake but hate to cook
  2. I have always loved playing around with makeup, even when I was two and sitting at my granny's dressing table 'applying' lipstick (it was more like trying to cover as much of my skin with the lipstick but at the time I thought I was very cool!)
  3. I love to read, (but only chick lit styled books, nothing too serious or challenging!) especially when I'm on holiday lying by the pool.
  4. I am not a morning person. I hate getting up early for anything other than going on holiday.
  5. I would love to live in a sunny country when I'm older but couldn't because I would miss my family and friends too much.
  6. I am both a cat and a dog person.
  7. I love Cadbury's Dairy Milk chocolate so much. Well actually most of the Cadbury's chocolate bars are amazing.
  8. I have always wanted to visit Paris and go up the Eiffel Tower.
  9. I am right handed.
  10. When I was younger I gave flowers to Princess Anne (as in Queen Elizabeth II's daughter)
  11. I write way too many lists all of the time of things I have to do and the majority of the time I forget to do them!
11 questions I have to answer:

1. What's your favourite song at the moment?
At the moment it is between, Nina Nesbitt Don' Stop, John Newman Love Me Again and Bruno Mars Treasure.
2. If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?
I would love to go to Greece. After seeing it on Keeping up with the Kardashians I want to go there even more!
3. Celebrity Crush?
Anyone who knows me really well knows that my celebrity crush is Harry Styles but for those of you who don't know me that well now you now know as well.
4. Would you rather live in the city or the country?
I currently live in the country and I don't like being so far from anything like shops, cinemas or even a train station and because I am only 16 I cannot learn to drive yet (you have to be 17 in England to learn to drive) so this means I have to rely on my parents to drive me to places which I don't like. Because of this I would prefer to live in the city.
5. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Probably their hair colour as this is quite an easy thing to notice.
6. What is your favourite dessert?
This would have to be my Granny's apple crumble. It is amazing. I once even ate it for breakfast because it is that good!
7. What is your favourite place in the world?
London. I love going their and sightseeing, shopping or just enjoying the London life. I could definitely see myself working in London when I'm older.
8. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Probably in the middle of uni studying something But I am not sure what right now. If I'm not at uni hopefully I will be working in London in job that interests me.
9. If you could switch places with anyone for a day who would it be?
This might be weird but I would love to swap places with a YouTuber like Zoella or missglamorazzi just to see what they do when they are not filming and see how much work the have to put into making a YouTube video. I don't know, it would just be interesting.
10. If you could pick 3 words to describe yourself, what would they be?
Red-head, kind and friendly. I don't know, I'm so bad at describing myself!
11. What is your favourite season?
Summer!! I love the sun and the heat and the fact we don't have school. It is just amazing but only if it sunny.

My Nominees are:
So your supposed to pick 11 small blogs but since a lot of the blogs I read have more than 200 followers I have decide to just pick the 6 blogs I think deserve this award and they are:

And my questions are:
  1. What is your favourite makeup brand?
  2. What do you love most about blogging?
  3. Who is your favourite YouTuber?
  4. What is you favourite nail polish colour at the moment?
  5. What clothes shop do you shop at the most?
  6. What was the last makeup product you bought?
  7. Can you speak any other language other than your first language?
  8. What is your favourite magazine?
  9. What artist or group (music) is you current favourite?
  10. What is your favourite film?
  11. Sweet or savoury food?
So thank you again to Alicia for the nomination!

Weekly Wishlist: Topshop

This week's 'Weekly Wishlist' is from Topshop. I am an avid Topshop fan and have been for a really long time. They always seem to have things that suit my style and the make up is amazing. So when I decided that I would be picking things from Topshop for my 'Weekly Wishlist' it took me a long time to choose just 7 things as there are sooooo many amazing clothes, shoes, accessories and beauty products that it was hard to choose but here are the things I finally decided on.

1. I love collars on tops and dresses and I also love monochrome so if they are in the same piece of clothing I'm going to love it right? Well, yes I do love this dress and I think it could be worn for both day and night, formal and casual so all in all this is a wardrobe staple.
2. Topshop jeans are famously known to be amazing. What I like about them is they don't feel like denim, more like jeggings and are super comfy and well fitted. So other than that I don't have much to say about them other than I really, really love them and really, really want them.
3. I have been longing after a new glittery nail varnish since my pretty gold one went really glupy (sad moments) and a multi-coloured glittery nail polish could just fit into the space in my collection. I have some Topshop Nail Polishes and I think they are really good and at only £6 they are definitely worth getting.
4. Again, like in the case of the dress, this is monochrome and I think playsuits are really cute so this is a win win situation. The slightly baggy shorts are perfect when you're not having a great body confidence day because you don't feel too on show and the high waist of the shorts also will highlight your waist and make you have the appearance of a slimmer waistline. Bonus' all around.
5. Every girl should have they perfect pair of black heels and a pair of strappy sandal style heels are perfect for all year round (although probably better for the summer as they are opened toe). The small platform means that there is extra height to the shoe without it feeling like it has that extra inch or so. In my eyes these look perfect but obviously I would want to try them on before I could say whether they are perfect as they could be the most uncomfortable shoes ever!
6. Ok so I'm going to admit now that I really don't know when I would wear this but I kinda like it and I don't know why! Varsity pieces are really in and have been for a while now and the longer they have been around the more I have grown to love them. That is about as much as I can say for this other than the fact that I like it.
7. Midi rings aren't everyone's cup of tea but I think that are really beautiful and add a bit of a different look compared to just a regular ring. I love heart jewellery and with the diamantés in the heart shapes it just adds a bit of bling!

There are my favourite things from Topshop at the moment. What have you been loving from there recently?

Hair Care Routine

Today I thought I would share with you how I look after my hair. My hair is sometimes a bit troublesome as it is naturally curly and as with a lot of people who have curly hair it has the tendency to be a tad frizzy. I have been doing this routine now for about 6 months but have been using all of these products between 1 and 5 years (the hair serums have been in my life for what seems like forever!) I am going to give you a step by step guide on how I do my hair and also how I style it. Bare in mind that if you have completely straight frizz free hair this routine will not be suitable for you but to all of you out there with hair like mine then this might be useful.

Step 1: First of all I get my hair wet and apply my conditioner which is Tresemme Keratin Smooth conditioner, to the ends of my hair. Yes I meant conditioner first. This is a tip that I only used for the first time today but I have to admit my hair is feeling super soft at the ends now. I found this little tip in Elle Fowler's (her YouTube name is AllThatGlitters21) latest video (link to the video here) and she said her hair stylist said that it helps protect the shampoo from drying out the ends of your hair. After applying the conditioner I apply my shampoo which is also from the Tresemme Keratin Smooth collection to only my scalp since that is where the oil is and then rinse.

Step 2: Next I apply conditioner again but this time I use my Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy Deep Conditioner but only to the very ends of my hair. I leave this in whilst I wash, exfoliate and do all the other things that might take 3 minutes and then rinse out with cold water. This may be slightly unbearable but this will help add shine to your hair and also prevent a bit of frizz.

Step 3:  When I get out of the shower I put my hair in a hair turban towel and leave it like that for about 15 minutes. In this time I get dressed and do my makeup. Sometimes I leave it in for more time sometimes it is less time, it just depends on how long it takes me to get ready.

Step 4: Once I am ready I take my hair out of the towel and spray the Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave In Conditioner all over my hair to leave it soft and less frizzy. Then comb it through with a wide toothed comb so it is evenly distributed throughout all of my hair.

Step 5: This step varies depending on whether I'm leaving my hair naturally curly or if I'm going to style it so Version one: when I keep it curly I put my damp hair into a French Plait/Braid to dry so that I am left with more controlled curls than if I just left it to dry without any help.
Version two: I leave my hair to dry naturally because I am going to style it.

Step 6: Version one: I usually leave it in until it is dry or almost 100% dry and then when it is ready I take it out of the plait/braid and put a tiny amount of the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum to the ends of my hair and then anything left on my hands can go lightly on my roots but be careful not the put too much there because it will look greasy, comb through with a wide toothed comb and that's it done!
Version two: I leave my hair to dry fully and then I put the thermal version of the John Freida hair serum so that I have even more heat protection than just applying a heat protection spray and comb it through with a wide toothed comb.

Step 7: Next I spray the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine spray all over my hair, roots to the ends and comb it through again with a wide toothed comb to evenly distribute it throughout my hair so that it is all protected from the heat of my hair straighteners.

Step 8: This is the final step and that is to straighten my hair. I use ghd IV styler and just straighten it. There isn't much to it. I separate it into small sections and straighten my hair. It is as simple as that.

That is my current hair care routine. I'm sure it will change over the next few months as it gets into winter but as of now this is my haircare routine.

Nail Art That I Love

Today's post is some of the nail arts that I have seen on Pinterest that I thought would be nice to share with you. So lets get into the pretty glittery pictures.

I love nail art but unfortunately I'm not very good at it so I just have to look at everyone else's pretty pictures of it. As you can probably tell I love glitter (well 7 of the 10 photos here have glitter so that's a bit of a clue!) Oh and I love pink (also a clue from the pictures!)

I feel like I might try out the one with the snowman when it gets a little bit closer to Christmas (is it too soon to be getting excited for Christmas?) but as of now I will just have to look at these pictures and think how I will teach myself to do the nail art.

Anyway sorry about the lack of writing in today's post but I have been so busy all day. It has been one of those in and out of the car days so there hasn't been a lot of time to blog but I promise things will get a bit more interesting in the next couple of weeks.

Disclaimer: All photos from Pinterest, I do not own any of them.

The Best Brush Ever?

To answer the question in the title, yes the brush I'm going to write about today is the best brush ever! By this point your have probably scrolled down (OK maybe not scrolled down, maybe it was more of a glance to see a picture of said brush) so you might already know what brush it is but I'm going to tell you anyway, it's the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. This brush was mentioned in my August Favourites (read it here) and it has continued to be one of my favourite things that I currently own (makeup wise).

I used to hate applying foundation, to the point where I never wore it because it was so much hassle to try and get it so that I had no streaks or lines on my my face from the foundation. Maybe that was because the foundation wasn't suited to the brush of the brush wasn't suited to me. However that has all changed now that the Expert Face Brush has come into my life. I now love applying foundation because I know that it will always go right and I won't have to remove it and start again.

This brush applies my foundation (which is, by the way the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation) without streaks, lines or any blotchy patches. This is probably due to the fact that you can do little swirly brush strokes rather than the backwards and forward motions you have to do with a regular foundation brush. It leaves my skin looking skin like rather than the whole mask look that sometimes used to occur.

Overall I would say to anyone who wears foundation or would like to start wearing it you should definitely buy this brush and at only £9.99 it won't set you back too much.

If you would like to buy it click here.

Five Favourites: Autumn/Winter Lip colours

It is now that time of year when the leaves start falling and it starts to get a lot colder and the clothes and makeup become a lot darker and deeper. Therefore the lip colours become a little different to how they were in the summer (aka bright and colourful!). I've mention before that I am not a major wearer of lip colours (although I do wear these, some more than others) but I know there are many people out there who do love to have a statement lip, so this post might benefit some of you reading this.
L to R: Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in Take a Chance, L'Oreal  Color Riche in Pretty Peach, No7 Moisture Drench in Pink Crush, Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in Snog and L'Oreal Glam Shine in Mercury Crystal
Swatches as above
Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in Take a Chance
L'Oreal Color Riche in Pretty Peach
No7 Moisture Drench in Pink Crush
L'Oreal Glam Shine in Mercury Crystal
Now as you can see from the photos above I haven't got a photo of the L'Oreal Glam Shine Lipgloss. The only reason being every photo I took didn't show that the colour is a very deep berry colour, it showed it a lot lighter which is not an accurate display of this beautiful product so I decided not to include it but the true colour is shown in the swatch above.
These colours sum up autumn and winter for me. The nude to the very deep berry shows that there are many possibilities for lip colour.
My most worn out of these would probably be the Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in Take a Chance because it is so easy to wear and I love the slight gold tone in the gloss. If I'm having a self-conscious day then this is perfect as it is not too, "out there" shall we say.

As of now these colour will feature heavily in my everyday makeup because of my love for them. If you have a favourite lip colour for A/W let me know in the comments below what your favourite is.

A little bit of fashion

Today I decided that I would do a post on some outfit ideas for this Autumn and Winter. These are things that I would personally wear however I know that this might not suit everyone because everyone has different styles. So before I go on too much and go off track here are some outfit ideas for this A/W.
I think this outfit is perfect for this time of year. The colours may be dark but I think the wine coloured jeans and the khaki parka with the black top just go together really nicely. The bag isn't something I could afford right now (hello I'm only a 16 year old school girl) but a girl can dream right?  As for the other accessories I just thought they looked pretty so added them to this outfit, although I am a bit in love with the shoes...
This look is a little different to the kind of things I usually wear but I love it. The leather skirt and the T-shirt would look so nice together. I'm not 100% sure how cropped this top is but it could either be worn tucked in to the skirt (if it is slightly on the longer side) or over the top of the skirt (if it is more on the cropped side). The parka adds a bit of an extra edge to the look because it has leather sleeves so with the leather skirt you can rock a bit of double leather. The black accessories keep the attention on the clothes and also keep things a little bit more chic.
This outfit is more party than shopping with friends like the other two outfits. This is very black and gold but these colours, in my opinion go really well together. The scalloped edged shorts and the gold embellished top with the ankle boots would make the perfect outfit for your next big party and for me the clutch is beautiful. The gold accessories add that extra prettiness.

Let me know if you like these outfits in the comments below.

TAG: Would You Rather - Beauty Edition

I have seen so many different versions of this TAG all over the Internet but this just happens to be the one I have chosen to do. Some of the questions are hard to chose which one so be prepared for me to work my way around them!!

1. Would you rather only ever wear eye makeup or skin makeup?
I would definitely choose eye make as I wear this more than skin make up. Without eye makeup I would not any confidence at all and the only time I don't wear eye makeup is at home when I know I'm not going out anywhere that day!
2.Would you rather cut off all your hair, or never cut your hair again?
This one is really hard because both are pretty bad, imagine the split ends if you couldn't cut it! I would probably prefer to cut all my hair off because it doesn't say anything about not being allowed to wear wigs and you can get some really realistic looking wigs so that could be a possibility.
3. Would you rather always wear your clothes too big or too small?
I would 100% say too big because quite a lot of clothes are made to be too big like hoodies, jumpers and some t-shirts so it probably wouldn't look too bad it everything was too big. You could also use belts and accessories to make it look like it was meant to be that way as well. Too small would be horrible and I would feel really uncomfortable all of the time so I would definitely choose too big.
4. If you were given £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I would probably pick clothes as there are always clothes that I want to buy and not always makeup that I want to try out. Clothes are also essentials because you have to wear them and you don't have to wear makeup.
5. Would you rather wear lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
I would hate to wear lipstick on my eyes because it would feel really sticky so I would wear eyeliner as lipstick. I have seen some pink and nude eyeliners that I would be happy to wear on my lips if I had to.
6. Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or Biker Shorts in public?
Both of these are so bad but the biker shorts could work if you went out in public with a bike. The MC Hammer pants are probably worse than the biker shorts so I could try to pull off the biker shorts with my bike in tow!!
7. Would you rather never be able to fill in your brows or only fill them in using a Sharpie?
I hate not filling in my eyebrows now that I have started to fill them in but a Sharpie would look awful!! I think I would rather not fill them in and just rock the sparse brow look...
8. Would you rather never pluck your eyebrows, or never shave your legs?
Ok well first off it doesn't say that you can't remove your leg and eyebrow hair any other way so I could get around this by being able to pluck my eyebrows and wax my legs. But if I'm not allowed to get around it like that I would prefer to...umm...probably pluck my eyebrows because everyone can see them and I could always wear trousers and never have my legs on show.

If you would like to answer any of these feel free to leave me a link to your answers or just comment below with them.

Weekly Wishlist: Accessorize

1. Natalie Statement Necklace £15  2. Baroque Crest Large Studs £8   3. Leopard Slipper Shoes £29 4. Side Zip Envelope Bar Clutch £25   5. Aaliyah Stone Ring £14

1. This necklace is gorgeous! I love the turquoise stones with the gold chain, I think they go perfectly together. Statement necklaces are a style must-have because they can instantly transform a boring outfit into an amazing outfit which has had some effort put into it. Personally I would pair this with an LBD.
2. These earrings are beautiful. The black stones, the diamantés and the pearls make these earrings look a lot more expensive than they actually are. These would be perfect for a party where the dress code is more on the formal side. If I was to get them I think they would be perfect for a Christmas party or Prom.
3. I love leopard print but mainly for accessories like these shoes. Paired with some black skinny jeans and a loose white top or a casual day look or paired with an LBD for a dressed up night time look. I love flat shoes and these would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe.
4. Every girl should have that one clutch bag that they love and that can go with almost, if not everything. For me I think this would be the one. I like the fact that it has a small handle so that you can have your hands free if you didn't want to hold it all of the time like you would a regular clutch bag.It is slightly bigger than your standard clutch bag but I think that that is a good thing because then you can fit what you need in it and you still shouldn't have to leave any essentials behind.
5. I don't own many rings but I do love them I just never buy them, I don't know why! However I absolutely adore this ring. The stone is beautiful and again as this is a statement ring it will make your outfit look like you thought about it a bit more than you perhaps did in reality.

These aren't the only things from Accessorize that I have been loving but if I put everything I loved in this post it would never end, so I chose these to be my absolute favourite things from there at the moment.

Haul: MAC, Soap and Glory, Garnier and New Look

On Friday I went shopping to my favourite place near to where I live in the not so sunny England and I picked up a few things that I needed/wanted. If you read Fridays post you will know that I went to MAC and had a makeover and got some of the products that were used on me. I then went to Boots and got the Soap and Glory product and the Garnier products. Finally I went to New look and got something I have been needing for so long now that I can't believe that I actually found exactly what I wanted. To find out what I am talking about just continue reading!

First I went to MAC and had my makeover (read about it here) and afterwards I chose 4 products that were used on me. The first two I chose go together and they are the Fluidline gel eyeliner in Blacktrack and the 210 Precise Eye Liner Brush. I have never owned a gel liner before so when this was used on me I knew I had to get it. I was also advised to get this brush to go with it because it can apply the gel liner really precisely to your lash line for a thin line or it can be built up to have a more dramatic line. Both of these products are amazing and I am so happy to finally have them in my collection.

The next product is one I usually wouldn't have gone for because you can get really great mascaras on the high street however I adored the way this mascara made my lashes look. My lashes looked even longer than normal, slightly more voluminous and they were separated so they didn't look spidery which is sometimes the case with some mascaras because of my natural lashes being quite long without the help of mascara.

The final product from MAC is the eyebrow pencil in Fling. I am so glad I got this because I was trying to find a new eyebrow pencil but it is so hard to know if the colour will look good or not but because I had it put on me at MAC I knew it looked natural and not like my eyebrows have been drawn.

After my wonderful MAC makeover I went into Boots. I didn't know what I need from Boots but it never hurts to go in and have a look. Every time I go into Boots I have to look at the Soap and Glory section because I have a slight obsession with Soap and Glory. When I was there I realised that I was running out of my scrub (also from Soap and Glory) and thought I would just have to have a little look at the selection of other scrubs they had. And this is how I stumbled across this particular product. It is the Pulp Friction scrub which I have never used before but when I smelt it I knew I had to get it. I am yet to use it because my other scrub still has a couple of uses out of it but I will be using it within the next couple of weeks and I can't wait!
The final two things go together and they are the Garnier Clean & Fresh Refreshing Gel Wash and the Garnier Clean & Fresh Refreshing Scrub. These two products are made for normal to combination skin which is perfect for me because my skin is becoming a lot more in the combination skin category recently which is why I was in need for a new cleanser and scrub. I have now used this for a couple of days but I don't think that that is long enough for me to say whether it is any good so I will let you know in a couple of weeks if I love it or not.

Lastly I went to New Look in the search for a new winter coat. This has been a bit of a challenge for me because I knew I wanted a navy blue one and I hadn't found one that I loved until I saw this one. This particular coat was £49.99 which I think is quite good for something that I will wear pretty much everyday this winter. I like the fur hood detail and the big pockets perfect for keeping gloves in for those really cold days when I always seem to forget to bring gloves with me.

I am a bit of a shopaholic so I'm sure this will be the first of many hauls. I hope you enjoyed seeing what I have purchased on my recent shopping trip. If you have used any of the beauty/skincare products mentioned, what did you think of them? Let me know in the comments below.
