Fitness Favourites

So if you read my New Years Resolutions post you will know that I wanted to try and do more exercise in the new year. I was pretty good for about 2 months and then long story short I got a flu-like bug and didn't do much exercise for a couple of weeks and when I started again I had lost my original motivation. Now although my fitness game hasn't been as good as it was in the January I still am doing exercise between 2 and 4 times a week, not as much as I would like but it is exercise nonetheless. So today I thought I would share with you some of my favourite fitness videos that I enjoy (is that even the right word to describe a workout video...) and some of the other things I like to refer to when I am motivated to do some exercise.

Tone It Up
I absolutely adore Karena and Katrina and their videos. They are very motivational and their workouts are actually doable but you definitely feel your muscles working hard and you do feel tired at the end. Some of my favourite videos of theirs are the Hump Day HIIT, Love Your Leg and Booty and the Bikini Abs Workout. All of their videos are really effective and you will definitely feel like you can't walk the next morning but they are not impossible to do and if I can complete them than anyone can.

Definitely a lot harder than most of the Tone it Up videos and I think I am yet to complete one of here videos (not including the 9 Steps to doing the splits as I find stretching videos a lot easier since I have pretty good flexibility from dancing). Cassey's videos are pilates inspired and very tough but they are also effective. Most of my favourite videos of hers are all leg related as that is the area I prefer to workout and she has some really good thigh toning videos, but be warned they are hard!

Madeline Shaw
Madeline's recipes are amazing and super simple. I love eating healthily but I always lack inspiration on what to make especially for when I have to take lunch to college. Madeline's blog has some really good recipes including her 5 Simple Lunch Box Recipes and her Lunch Box Stack. Next on my list of things I want to make is the Pancakes with Strawberries and Coconut Cream and the Roasted Cauilflower, Chickpea, Fennel and Avocado salad.

The only fitness magazine I buy and that is because I don't feel the need to buy another one. This magazine is jam packed with exercises, healthy recipes and health related to articles on various topics. I find it really interesting to read and I am always a little more motivated to workout after reading it.

More of a recent find but I have quickly fallen in love with Dana's recipes. I am especially keen to try the Easy Vegan Falafel  and the Gluten Free Pizza Crust. All of the recipes seem pretty easy and they all look delicious. Although I haven't actually tried any of these recipes yet I know that I will like them because they are pretty simple and fuss free foods which i much prefer to things with thousands of ingredients and flavours.

So there are some of my favourite health and fitness related things. What else would I include in this list?
