My Top 5 Favourite Healthy Recipes
As much as I love eating pizza, ice cream and cake, I do like to try to eat as healthily as possible as much as possible. Some days I am more successful than others at this but I do try. To help me eat healthily I love looking at healthy eating blogs and also buying cookbooks from my favourite food bloggers. So today I thought I would share with you my top 5 favourite healthy recipes that I recommend you trying some time soon.

These are my go-to snack, especially when I am out and about because not only are they really easy to make but they are very delicious. I can make a batch of these and they can easily last me a week and half and I can have them whenever I am craving something chocolatey/sweet without the guilt afterwards.

A slightly newer recipe that I have tried but oh my god are these amazing. I think I could safely say these are the yummiest chocolate cookies I have ever had and I much prefer them to any other ones that I have tried. Not only are they gluten free, but they are also refined sugar free and dairy free so perfect for those you are trying to avoid those things as much as possible. I love the dark chocolate in these, but if you don't like dark chocolate you could easily swap it with a chocolate that you do like.

I absolutely love regular, shop bought, chocolate hobnobs and could quite easily eat them all day long. So I thought it would be a good idea to find a slightly healthier version, so I can still enjoy them but not feel like they are really bad for me. I came across this recipe from Eat Drink Live Well and I have to say they are delicious. They are not identical to the originals but they are a pretty good alternative to the original biscuits and are a great way to satisfy your chocolate cravings with a healthy biscuit.

This is a recipe from Ella's book, Deliciously Ella, and I have made this particular recipe the most out of all of the recipes in that book. It is the perfect meal to make in bulk and put in the freezer and then take out when you need a meal quickly. I also loved taking this to college with me as my lunch as you can heat it up in the morning and put it in a flask to keep it warm throughout the day. It is really filling and I think I actually prefer this to the meat version of chilli.

These Halloween cookies are probably my favourite of all of the recipes I have included in this post. If you like coconut, you will love these. Again they are refined sugar free, dairy free and gluten free so perfect for various different diets and taste like little bits of coconut heaven. I made these a lot over Christmas and made them into little star shapes so they are not exclusive to Halloween and can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
